In an operation organized by the Istanbul Police Department, 10 suspects involved in threats and armed attacks were detained. The identities and addresses of the suspects were identified, and a simultaneous operation was carried out.
In operations conducted in Istanbul against new generation criminal organizations, 10 suspects were detained for their involvement in various actions, including threats and armed attacks on businesses. A comprehensive study was carried out by the Istanbul Police Department's Organized Crime Fighting Branch regarding the activities of new generation crime networks. Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the prosecutor's office, suspects accused of threatening shopkeepers and carrying out armed attacks on businesses in Istanbul's Bağcılar, Bakırköy, and Kartal districts on different dates were placed under technical and physical surveillance. The identities and addresses of gang members were identified one by one.

Subsequently, an operation was carried out early this morning to capture the aforementioned suspects. In a simultaneous operation targeting addresses identified in Istanbul, 10 suspects were detained, including one person who was wanted for another investigation. The detained suspects were taken to the Istanbul Police Department for questioning. While the procedures regarding the captured individuals are ongoing, security camera footage of the armed attacks carried out by gang members has emerged.
