Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that his country will not participate in the military attacks by the United States and Israel targeting Iran, emphasizing that a diplomatic solution to the conflict is necessary.
Germany will not participate in the war against Iran, which began with the attacks of the USA and Israel.
"GERMANY IS NOT A PARTY TO THIS WAR" The statement came from Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. In a speech he made in the Parliament, Pistorius said regarding the attacks in Iran, "Germany is not a party to this war. The German Armed Forces will not participate in this war."
Pistorius noted that his country will do everything it can to contribute to reducing tensions in the region and preventing further spread of violence.

Pistorius expressed that the Iranian regime has repeatedly violated international law for many years, saying, "The Israel-America attacks are aimed at a regime that wants to destroy Israel. This regime has been practicing oppression and terror both domestically and internationally for years, even decades."
USA-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN Israel and the USA launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between Tehran and Washington administrations. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel. In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and many high-ranking officials were killed. Iranian Health Ministry Spokesman Hossein Kermanpur announced that 867 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
