Good news has arrived about 12-year-old Duru Arslan, who went missing after leaving home to go to school in Sancaktepe. It has been reported that Arslan, who was found by police teams, is in good health.
On January 6, Tuesday, at 08:00 in the morning, 12-year-old Duru Arslan, who left her home in the Merve Neighborhood of Sancaktepe district in Istanbul to go to 60th Year Sarıgazi Middle School, was reported missing by her family after they could not reach her. Following the report, police teams initiated search efforts to find the little girl. The power of social media was also utilized to locate the missing girl. While there was activity in the street where Duru Arslan's house is located for two days, her family's anxious wait continued. During this process, father Evren Arslan had a nervous breakdown.
Father Evren Arslan called out to his daughter, saying, "Duru my girl, wherever you are, come out. Don't be afraid, nothing will happen. Your mother is also bad, and I am bad too. Wherever you are, come out my girl. Just be safe, that's enough, I don't want anything else."
FOUND SAFE
It was learned that Duru Arslan, who was being searched for as missing, was found safe last night. According to the information shared by journalist Emrullah Erdinç, Duru Arslan was found safe by the Sancaktepe District Police Department teams.
After the police teams contacted the family, the mother and father went to the police station, and it was reported that Duru Arslan would be handed over to her family after the necessary procedures and statements were taken.
