Tekin, who said, "I have been tolerant until today. I do not want to get into a polemic with the chairman," added, "But my name is Gürsel Tekin. I have fought for 40 years so that no dust settles on this party. I am not a party member; I am a partisan. I have contacted the prominent figures of the CHP and everyone. Just when the problems were being solved, something completely different came up 24 hours later.
Did we bring the party to court? Did we create these problems? Where is our involvement? Our friends have nominated us as neutral. We are working on how we can get our party out of the corridors of the judiciary as soon as possible. Today, hundreds of our friends are detained. Mayors, public administrators. The main reason for their detention is slanderers and informants. You do not open investigations against informants and slanderers; you say we disciplined Gürsel Tekin and Barış Yarkadaş one night and expelled them," he expressed.
