While Israel continues its attacks in the occupied Gaza Strip, the Kassam Brigades, affiliated with Hamas, also continue their resistance. Recently, Kassam fighters trapped a group of Israeli soldiers at a tunnel entrance in the city of Rafah, killing some and injuring others.
The armed wing of Hamas, the Izzeddin al-Qassam Brigades, announced that they trapped a group of Israeli soldiers in a tunnel entrance in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah, rendering them ineffective, with some dead and injured.
In a statement on their Telegram account, al-Qassam stated, "The Qassam fighters killed some of the Israeli soldiers, who were infantrymen, and injured others by trapping them in a previously mined tunnel entrance."
NO COMMENT FROM ISRAEL
The statement mentioned that the operation took place in the Tel es-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah. Israel has not yet commented on al-Qassam's statement. The Israeli army refrains from providing detailed information about armed clashes with Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip, and only reports the number of dead and injured on their side.
