As Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip continue for 334 days, the military wing of Hamas, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, released footage of Israeli prisoners Alexander Lobanov and Carmel Gat, whose bodies were found in the Gaza Strip on September 1. Speaking in the footage, Lobanov stated that he was abducted from the Reim region on October 7 and that they were deprived of basic needs such as water, electricity, food, and cleaning supplies under difficult conditions. Lobanov expressed his fear and mentioned that he was transferred to different locations 10 times by the Qassam Brigades to avoid being killed in Israeli bombardments. Lobanov stated that the Netanyahu government failed on October 7 and that they were neglected, saying, "Now you continue to fail in every attempt to keep us alive. You are trying to kill us to avoid making a deal." Lobanov also called on the Israeli people to take to the streets, leaving behind his pregnant wife, 2-year-old son, and sick parents.

Gat, another Israeli prisoner, stated that the Israeli army's attacks continue relentlessly, saying, "I don't know if I will survive these attacks." Gat appealed to the Netanyahu government, saying, "Please do not neglect us and stop the bombardment, ensure our return home." Gat called on the Israeli people to continue protesting for their return home, saying, "Do not let anyone close the door to negotiations." Hamas announced that the prisoners in question were killed in an Israeli attack, while Israel claimed that the prisoners were killed by Hamas.
