Hamas leader Haniyeh's son: My father's blood is not more valuable than the blood of children in Gaza.

The eldest son of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, Abdusselam Haniyeh, said that his father's blood is not more valuable than the blood of children in Gaza.

Speaking to an AA correspondent about the assassination attempt on his father in Tehran, Iran, Abdusselam said, "We say to the occupiers, 'no matter how many you kill, you will not be able to stop the march and revolution of the Palestinian people.' Every assassination attempt against leaders will revive a new revolution for our people and the Islamic world."

"MY FATHER'S BLOOD IS NOT MORE VALUABLE THAN THE BLOOD OF GAZAN CHILDREN"

Abdusselam stated, "My father's blood is not more valuable than the blood of Gazan children or individuals, and our tears are not more valuable than the tears of martyr families." Abdusselam also said in a video published on social media, "His (Haniyeh's) will was always to achieve national unity, end attacks on Gaza, and achieve victory for our people."

Abdusselam said, "His blood is not more valuable than the blood of our people, nor is it more valuable than the tears shed by a mother for her martyr son. My father has been pursuing martyrdom day and night because he has chosen the path of resistance, revolution, and struggle since his childhood." Abdusselam recalled that his father had been subjected to numerous assassination attempts but managed to survive. He also mentioned that his father's life was spent working for jihad and resistance.

Abdusselam said that separation is difficult but it is the most blessed separation. He expressed his feelings by saying, "Haniyeh's sons and grandsons humiliated Israel on October 7th and Haniyeh's people stood tall in the greatest massacre in history."

HANIYEH ASSASSINATION

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Mahmoud Pezeshkian. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced in the early hours of July 31st that an attack had been carried out on Haniyeh's residence in Tehran. Iran and the Hamas Movement held Israel responsible for the cowardly assassination.

Born in a refugee camp in Gaza in 1962, Ismail Haniyeh was an important figure since the establishment of Hamas. Haniyeh, who has been imprisoned by Israel several times, survived an assassination attempt by Israel in 2003. After Hamas won the elections three years later, Haniyeh briefly served as the Prime Minister of Palestine. In 2017, he was elected as the head of Hamas' political bureau. Haniyeh led the Hamas delegation in negotiations mediated by Qatar, the United States, and Egypt.
