Three Turkish citizens from the ship were brought to Istanbul during the night. MINISTRY OF HEALTH CONDUCTED THE OPERATION
The Ministry of Health, in a statement made last Saturday evening, announced that the 3 Turkish citizens on the ship would be brought to Turkey and placed under quarantine. Following the statement, the aforementioned citizens arrived in Istanbul during the night hours. It was learned that the quarantine process for the citizens who entered Turkey has officially begun.
THEY WILL BE KEPT UNDER SURVEILLANCE AT HOME
It was stated that the citizens brought to the country as part of the operation carried out by the Ministry will be kept under strict surveillance at their homes. Officials indicated that the quarantine process applied as a precautionary measure is being closely monitored.
NO SYMPTOMS FOR NOW
Meanwhile, it was learned that the Turkish citizens currently show no symptoms of any illness. However, it was stated that quarantine was implemented due to the possibility that they may have come into contact with infected individuals on the ship or consumed food carrying a risk of transmission.
