In the inspections conducted by the Ministry of Trade, chemical substances violating regulations were detected in the product called 'Jinafire Long Children's Costume'. The product, which failed chemical safety tests, was banned from being placed on the market, and it was decided to recall the products already on sale. The Ministry stated that inspections against unsafe products will continue with determination.
The Ministry of Trade has decided to recall a product that threatens children's health. Bekir Kaplan, Press and Public Relations Advisor of the Ministry of Trade, announced via his social media account that during inspections carried out by the Ministry's Market Surveillance and Inspection Department, the product named "Jinafire Long Children's Costume" failed chemical safety tests.
MARKET SUPPLY BANNED
Kaplan stated that the analyses detected chemical substances in the product that violate relevant legislation, and therefore the supply of the product to the market has been banned and a decision has been made to recall the products already on the market.
"WE ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ALLOW UNSAFE PRODUCTS"
Kaplan stated that the Ministry of Trade continues its market surveillance and inspection activities decisively against products that threaten the health of all consumers, especially children, and said, "As the Ministry of Trade, we continue our market surveillance and inspection activities decisively against products that threaten the safety of all our consumers, especially our children; we absolutely do not allow unsafe products to remain on the market."
UNSAFE PRODUCTS PUBLISHED ON GUBIS
The statement also reminded that citizens can access notifications of unsafe products and the measures taken regarding these products through the Unsafe Product Information System (GUBIS).
