A 51-year-old man in Adana shot and killed a 24-year-old young man in an orange grove. It was learned that the suspect had sold the young man an electric bicycle worth 8,000 lira, and a feud began between them when he did not receive the payment. The suspect, who was caught in a café, stated, "I asked him to either return my money or my electric bicycle. When he said he wouldn't, an argument broke out. In a moment of anger, I opened fire."
On April 11, around 5:00 PM, a brutal incident occurred in the orange grove located on Sınır Street in the Hadırlı neighborhood of the Seyhan district of Adana. Ramazan Aslan (51) met with Mehmet Kutlu (24), with whom he had a feud, in the orange grove he was guarding.
YOUNG MAN KILLED WITH 3 BULLETS The argument between Aslan and Kutlu escalated into a fight after exchanging insults. During the scuffle, Ramazan Aslan fired at Mehmet Kutlu with the gun he pulled from his waist. Kutlu, who was shot three times in the chest, collapsed to the ground in a pool of blood, while the suspect Aslan fled. Health teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of those nearby. The teams determined that Mehmet Kutlu had lost his life.
Mehmet Kutlu (24) FEUD OVER AN 8 THOUSAND LIRA BICYCLE While an investigation into the murder was initiated, it was revealed that Ramazan Aslan had sold an electric bicycle to Kutlu for 8 thousand lira, and a feud began when he did not receive the payment. Teams that started technical surveillance assessed that Aslan might be in the Yunusoğlu Cumhuriyet neighborhood.
CAUGHT IN A TEA HOUSE Teams conducting research in the neighborhood caught Ramazan Aslan sitting in a tea house. During a search of the suspect, the gun used in the murder was seized.
"I FIRED IN A MOMENT OF ANGER" Aslan, who was taken to the police station, stated during his interrogation, "I sold Mehmet an electric bicycle for 8 thousand lira last year. However, he has not paid me until now. I asked him to either return my money or the electric bicycle. When he said he wouldn't, an argument broke out, and he insulted me. I fired in a moment of anger." After his procedures, Aslan was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the court he was brought before.
