A 76-year-old retired chief inspector in Sakarya was found at home shot in the head after being called by his son, who reported that he was not feeling well and was unwell. The chief inspector was taken to the hospital but unfortunately could not be saved despite all the interventions and passed away.
76-year-old retired Chief Inspector Y.S., living in the Erenler district of Sakarya, called his son Deniz S. to inform him that he was not feeling well and was unwell.
FOUND SHOT IN THE HEAD
Upon his father's call, Deniz S. came to the residence and found his father shot in the head, then reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the first intervention by the health teams at the scene, Y.S. was taken to Sakarya Training and Research Hospital (SEAH), where he could not be saved despite all interventions and passed away.
THE CAUSE OF DEATH WILL BE DETERMINED BY AUTOPSY
The body of the retired chief inspector was taken to the morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
