A student who was going to take the High School Transition System (LGS) exam in Zonguldak accidentally came to the exam center with their sibling's ID card. The student's uncle, who brought them to the exam, went to the house about 8 kilometers away, got the correct ID, and delivered it to the student with just 4 minutes left before the doors closed.
A major mishap occurred during the LGS excitement in Zonguldak. A student who came to the exam with his sibling's ID was saved by his uncle. The ID was delivered to the student just 4 minutes before the doors closed.
DENSITY EXPERIENCED AT LGS CENTERS
Science High School in the city center and the neighboring Başöğretmen Atatürk Anatolian High School were among the LGS exam centers. With the doors opening at 09:00 and students being admitted to the halls, traffic congestion occurred on the dead-end street where the schools are located. Parents and students reached the exam centers on foot. After the doors opened, students headed to the school entrances and were admitted to the buildings after identity checks.
POLICE AND TEACHER INTERVENED IN ID CRISIS
During the identity check, it was determined that a student had mistakenly come with his sibling's ID card. Officials informed the student's mother about the situation. The mother then contacted her brother-in-law, who had brought them to the exam center, and explained the situation.
UNCLE WENT TO HOME 8 KILOMETERS AWAY TO GET ID
Thereupon, the uncle went to the home approximately 8 kilometers away from the school and retrieved the student's ID. A police officer took the ID from the uncle, who arrived in front of the school 4 minutes before the doors closed, and handed the document to the teacher at the entrance. The teacher ran across the school yard to reach the student and handed over the ID.
PARENTS WAITED OUTSIDE
Some of the parents whose children were taking the exam waited by the school walls, while others sat on camping chairs they brought and drank tea, waiting for the exam to finish.
