In Amasra district of Bartın, Okan Paşalı (30) shot his wife Ahsen Nur Paşalı (27) in the legs with a shotgun during the divorce process. Okan Paşalı, who fled by car, was caught after hitting a police car that took precautions in Cide district of Kastamonu. While 1 guard in the police car was injured, Paşalı was taken into custody. Ahsen Nur Paşalı was seen asking for help in a video she took from her social media account 5 hours before the incident. The incident took place at the terminal in Kum neighborhood of Amasra around 18:00. According to the allegation, Ahsen Nur Paşalı, who has been married for 7 years and has 2 children, filed for divorce on the grounds that she was subjected to violence by her husband. Okan Paşalı, who was detained in Ankara on the grounds that he applied violence to Ahsen Nur Paşalı, was released under judicial control. Ahsen Nur Paşalı took refuge with her sister who works in Amasra due to the threats of her husband. Okan Paşalı learned that his wife was in Amasra in the process of divorce and came to Amasra by car with a friend from Ankara. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Ahsen Nur Paşalı was taken to Amasra State Hospital after the first intervention of the health teams. Ahsen Nur Paşalı, who had minor abrasions on her legs, was discharged after treatment. HE COLLIDED WITH THE POLICE CAR THAT TOOK PRECAUTIONS IN CIDEAfter the incident, the police determined that the suspect Okan Paşalı went to Cide district of Kastamonu by car. The police teams, who took precautions at the entrance of Cide district, tried to stop the vehicle. However, Okan Paşalı continued on his way and collided with the police car by entering the opposite lane. Okan Paşalı and another person with him were taken into custody slightly injured after the accident. A guard who was injured in the police car was taken to Cide State Hospital by health teams. SHE TOOK A VIDEO AND ASKED FOR HELP 5 HOURS BEFORE THE INCIDENTIt turned out that Ahsen Nur Paşalı published a video on her social media account at noon and asked for help. In the video, Ahsen Nur Paşalı said, "My husband constantly sends me threatening messages. He says he will kill me, and even says that my death will be salvation and that he will take one of my arms or legs. I don't want to be one of the women who make it to the news because of domestic violence. I don't want to die, I have 2 children. My children are witnesses to their father's violence against me, they never want to come back home. I want to go back to my own family, but I can't."
