A bad news has also come for Altay, which has been relegated to the TFF 3rd League, regarding the team's young center-back Yunus Efe Sarıkaya.
DID NOT ACCEPT THE PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT OFFER
According to the news in Yeni Asır; Altay Club offered a professional contract to 19-year-old center-back Yunus Efe Sarıkaya, who started his football career at Altay and also played for İlkadımspor and Bornovagücü, and was once of interest to Galatasaray.
The report stated that besides the professional contract, Altay made a 4 million TL offer to the player, but Yunus Efe was not receptive to this offer, expressing in a meeting with the management that clubs from the 1st League were interested in him and he was not inclined to agree.
AGREED WITH ALANYASPOR
On the other hand, it was stated that the young footballer has reached an agreement with the Super League team Corendon Alanyaspor. If Yunus Efe signs with the Mediterranean team, Altay will not earn a transfer fee from this transfer. The İzmir representative will only receive a share from the training compensation.
PLAYED IN 32 MATCHES
Yunus Efe, who also participated in the U19 National Team's preparation camp in January, played in 32 matches in the 2nd League last season while wearing the Altay jersey, scoring 1 goal.
