A 67-year-old man living alone in Edirne was found dead by teams who entered his home following a report from neighbors about bad smells coming from his apartment. The exact cause of death of the elderly man will be determined after an autopsy is performed on his lifeless body.
Neighbors who had not heard from 67-year-old Y.E., living alone in an apartment in the Meydan neighborhood of the central district in Edirne, reported the situation to the authorities due to the suspicious odors coming from the apartment.
TEAMS ENTERING THE APARTMENT ENCOUNTERED A GRIM SCENE
Upon the notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. With the help of the fire department, they entered the residence and found Y.E.'s lifeless body. The elderly man, determined to have passed away during checks by medical teams, was taken to the morgue.
CAUSE OF DEATH WILL BE DETERMINED BY AUTOPSY
