Major Yetişen was laid to rest in Kemer Cemetery Martyrdom after the funeral prayer performed following the afternoon prayer, amidst the tears of his loved ones. Aydın Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu also came to the mosque to express his condolences to the martyr's family before the funeral and did not leave the grieving family alone.
