A man who had an argument with his wife in Aksaray went to his mother-in-law's house and set the apartment on fire while his wife was on her way to the police station to file a complaint against him.
In the incident that took place in the apartment on the ground floor of Block B of Tokoğlu Site, located on Şehit Ethem Sancar Street in Aksaray Meydan Neighborhood; according to the information obtained, S.D. and his wife H.D. had an argument over a certain issue. As the argument escalated, the woman named H.D. left the house to go to the police station to file a complaint against her husband. Unable to control his nerves, S.D. went to his mother-in-law F.H.'s house and set fire to the laundry hanging in the room. Then, as the person fled the house, the flames from the burning laundry quickly spread to the carpet and the wardrobe.
TEAMS QUICKLY CONTROLLED THE FIRE
Noticing the fire, the residents of the apartment immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, police, fire brigade, Provincial Emergency Disaster Management, and health teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire brigade teams that arrived at the scene intervened in the fire and quickly brought it under control before it could spread further, while the police teams pursued the fleeing individual. An investigation has been initiated by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the incident.
