The person who was detained after reading the funeral prayer of his religiously married spouse in Bursa and was sentenced to house arrest for the crime of 'threat' by the court he was taken to, stated in his statement at the police station that he read the prayer not for threatening purposes but for humor purposes. The woman who had the funeral prayer read while she was still alive said, "It is not clear whether he or I received the house arrest. He is constantly outside, we are the ones at home. I can't even go out to buy bread, I'm afraid."
After being detained for reciting the funeral prayer of his religiously married ex-spouse in a mosque in Bursa, Zafer Kufacı, who was sentenced to house arrest for the crime of 'threat', stated in his statement at the police station that he recited the prayer not for the purpose of threat but for the purpose of humor.
According to the information obtained, Tuğçe Emir and Zafer Kufacı got married six years ago by religious marriage. One and a half years ago, due to severe incompatibility, Tuğçe Emir left her husband and went to her family with her child.
Tuğçe Emir, who claimed that she constantly received death threats from her ex-husband Zafer Kufacı, was shocked when she heard her own funeral prayer from the mosque in her neighborhood at noon. Panicking, Emir contacted the mosque officials. The mosque officials made announcements for a while stating that the prayer was incorrect. Tuğçe Emir, who panicked when her ex-spouse recited the prayer, went to the police station.
HE RECORDED THE PRAYER HE HAD RECITED WITH A VIDEO WHILE LAUGHING
According to the allegation, Zafer Kufacı wrote down the information of his ex-wife Tuğçe Emir for the prayer and gave it to the mosque imam. The imam who received the paper recited the prayer at noon. Zafer Kufacı, who was waiting for the prayer to be recited at a close distance, recorded those moments with his mobile phone while laughing.
Following the escalation of the incident on social media, the teams affiliated with the Bursa Provincial Police Department detained Zafer Kufacı. Kufacı, whose statement was taken at the police station, said, "I did it because she didn't show my child to me. I did it not as a threat but for humor." After the procedures at the police station were completed, Kufacı was sentenced to house arrest by the court.
Tuğçe Emir, who rebelled against the sentence, said, "I only know that he received house arrest. But I don't know if he is living under house arrest or we are. He is constantly outside, and we are the ones who are at home."
"SOMEONE WILL FIND A SOLUTION WHEN I DIE"
Emir, who stated that her ex-husband constantly threatened people around her with statements like 'This won't end like this, I will throw acid on her face', said, "I am still under threat, of course he has confidence because he hasn't received any punishment. He is still outside, and I am afraid. He is a drug addict. I can't even buy bread, I can't go outside at all. My neighbors bring me my needs. My children's psychology is disturbed. I say let's go to the park, we go out and we encounter him. I constantly receive threats. He received house arrest, but it is not clear whether he is living under house arrest or we are. We are the ones who are living under house arrest at the moment." - BURSA
