Terrifying moments occurred at an entertainment venue in Beyoğlu. Abdullah Kemal D. attacked a person named Ömer G. on the grounds that he was harassing his girlfriend. Ömer G., who was injured in the throat with a glass and assaulted with headbutts, was taken to the hospital. On May 25, Wednesday, at around 01:30, terrifying moments were experienced at an entertainment venue located in the Kamer Hatun neighborhood of Beyoğlu, Istanbul. According to the information obtained, Ömer G. started to have fun at the entertainment venue late at night. After a while, a person in the venue attacked him with a glass cup.
INJURED WITH A CUP TO THE NECK As a fight broke out, Ömer G. was headbutted by the person who attacked him. Following the attack with the cup, Ömer G. was injured in the neck, and a health team was dispatched to the scene upon notification. After the initial intervention, the health teams transported Ömer G. to the hospital by ambulance.
"HE HARASSED MY GIRLFRIEND" The Beyoğlu Public Order Bureau teams, which initiated an investigation into the incident, began examining the security camera footage related to the event. In the investigations, it was determined that the attacker was Abdullah Kemal D. The suspect, who was caught shortly after, reportedly told the police in his initial statement that an unknown person had harassed his girlfriend, then attacked him, and that he cut his hand when the glass he was holding broke.
ARRESTED Abdullah Kemal D., who was taken into custody, was referred to the courthouse after the procedures at the police station were completed. Abdullah Kemal D., who was brought before the court, was arrested and sent to prison for the crime of 'intentional injury.'
