In the Tekkeköy district of Samsun, 55-year-old Ömer Güroğlu, who was helping his neighbor during tree cutting, lost his life after a branch struck his head. The incident plunged the local residents into deep sorrow.
In Samsun, a man lost his life after being struck on the head by a branch of a tree while helping his neighbor with tree cutting. The incident occurred in the Balcalı neighborhood of the Tekkeköy district. According to the information obtained, 55-year-old Ömer Güroğlu, a father of two, went to help his neighbor Yaşar Gür with the cutting of an acacia tree in his garden. While Yaşar Gür's son, Davut Gür, was trying to pull the cut tree with a tractor, a branch hit Ömer Güroğlu on the head. Güroğlu collapsed on the spot. Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
IT WAS LEARNED THAT THE UNFORTUNATE MAN'S MOTHER PASSED AWAY A WEEK AGO
Upon examination, it was determined that Ömer Güroğlu had lost his life. His lifeless body was sent to the Samsun Group Presidency of the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy after the gendarmerie's investigation at the scene. It was learned that Ömer Güroğlu's mother had also passed away a week ago. The tragic incident has plunged the neighborhood residents into mourning.
