In an accident resulting from a collision between two cars on the Kemikli slopes connecting Istanbul to the Black Sea, one person lost their life and three others were injured. It was learned that the driver who died was trying to get into the vehicle, which had not been parked with the handbrake engaged, when the vehicle struck him.

According to the information obtained, the car driven by S.Y. on the Kemikli slopes located within the borders of Eskipazar district in Karabük collided with the car driven by Ünal Özdemir, who was trying to stop his vehicle without pulling the hand brake after refueling at a gas station while heading towards Çerkes.

In the accident, the car driver Ünal Özdemir and passengers T.Ö., E.K., and F.K. were injured. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After the first intervention by the teams, the injured were taken to the hospital.

Despite all the interventions made at the hospital, the driver Ünal Özdemir lost his life. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
