Authorities announced that announcements would be made from mosques to inform citizens.

Extensive measures have been taken in the Kırık village of the Domaniç district in Kütahya after the detection of foot-and-mouth disease. In order to prevent the spread of the disease, 15 villages have been placed under quarantine.

As part of the efforts carried out by the Domaniç District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry teams, the buying and selling of animals and the grazing of animals have been temporarily banned.

PENALTIES FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT COMPLY WITH THE BANS

Authorities announced that legal action will be taken against those who do not comply with the measures under Law No. 5996. The villages under quarantine include Kırık, Aksu, Berçin, Çiftlik, Bükerler, Küçükköy, Çokköy, Çamlıca, Çarşamba, Karaköy, Güney, Kozcağız, Muhacırlar, Fındıcak, and Seydikuz.
