As the opposition gained full control in Aleppo, the Turkmen journalist İbrahim Bozan prayed at the Umayyad Mosque. Capturing those moments, Bozan said, "I thank Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has stood by us for 14 years and has never left us in the lurch."

The advance of the opposition in Syria continues. Armed groups led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham are capturing cities like Aleppo and Idlib, while Syrian President Assad has withdrawn his troops from the areas he has lost.
