A shocking theft incident occurred at the Küçük Mustafapaşa fishing port located in the Yavuz Sultan Selim neighborhood of the Fatih district in Istanbul. The suspect jumped over the iron fences surrounding the port and began to enter the boats docked there.

The suspect entered 14 boats, stealing sound systems and several items. It was determined that the suspect stayed on the last boat he entered for about 6 hours. After eating on the boat, the suspect then left the port. It was found that the suspect opened the doors of the boats using iron wire. The suspect, who left the port with the stolen items, was captured on security camera.

Eymer Göktener, one of the boat owners, stated, "He enters through the wires at the front of our cooperative to commit theft on 13-14 boats, fiddling around and causing damage. Some of our belongings are stolen from the boats. This is a fishing port, and it harms us in this way. We went to the necessary authorities and reported it to the police. He entered the last boat around 05:00 and stayed on the boat until 11:02 in the morning. He probably rested, ate and drank, filled his stomach, and spent time. He also damages that boat. He rummages through everything, and there are places he broke and damaged. Our friends have financial losses as well; hopefully, he will be caught as soon as possible."
