Seyit Ali Sağır, who killed 70-year-old Mehmet Doğan found dead in his home in Şanlıurfa, was identified through security cameras and captured in an operation. In his statement, Sağır claimed he had Doğan write a talisman a week ago because he couldn't sleep at night, but after the talisman, he killed Doğan, alleging that demons haunted him.

CAUGHT IN AN OPERATION

Teams launched an investigation to find the murder suspect of Mehmet Doğan (70), who was registered in Nevşehir's population and lived alone in a rented house for a year due to his interest in Şanlıurfa after working abroad and retiring. Homicide Bureau teams identified the suspect as Seyit Ali Sağır from security camera footage. Sağır, who was found hiding in a scrapyard in Kamberiye District, was taken into custody in a planned operation.

KILLED IN A TALISMAN ARGUMENT

In the suspect's statement, he claimed that about a week ago, upon the recommendation of a mutual friend, he went to Mehmet Doğan because he couldn't sleep at night, that Doğan wrote a talisman for him due to the issues he was experiencing, but after this talisman, he suffered more unrest and jinns haunted him. Sağır confessed that he killed Doğan, whom he visited again at home to get rid of this situation, during the ensuing argument.

After the police procedures were completed, Seyit Ali Sağır was referred to the courthouse following a health check.
