In the central area of Bartın, in the Havuzbaşı location, an unidentified male individual relieved himself in the decorative fountain in front of dozens of people, including women. The incident, which occurred in one of the busiest areas of the city, was captured by mobile phone cameras. It was also reported that after relieving himself, the individual took off his clothes and washed them in the fountain. Following the emergence of the footage, municipal teams began cleaning the fountain.

CLEANING WORK IN THE FOUNTAIN

Bartın Deputy Mayor Şamil Keser stated that he directed the police and fountain staff to the scene upon receiving reports from citizens and requested an investigation. Keser mentioned that they have initiated research to determine the identity and purpose of the individual, and that work is being carried out to clean the fountain. After the incident, the fountain staff drained the water from the fountain in the evening, and cleaning work is expected to be carried out during the day.
