Trendyol Super League team Çaykur Rizespor has signed a 4.5-year contract with Nigerian-born Scottish footballer Adedire Awokoya Mebude, who previously played in the youth categories of Manchester City and was a fan favorite due to his talent.

According to a statement from the green-blue club, Mebude, who was transferred from the Belgian team Westerlo, underwent a medical examination at Acıbadem Fulya Hospital in Istanbul. After completing the health checks and official procedures, a 4.5-year contract was signed with the 21-year-old player. The statement included, "We welcome our new transfer Adedire Awokoya Mebude and wish him success."
