In the statement she gave to the police last February, Ümmü Döğer, who lost her life in the incident, stated that Arafa Yıldırım threatened her and said, "We met Arafa Yıldırım 2 years ago and became friends. I don't want to talk to him or meet him, but he not only refuses my request but also constantly bothers me. He scared me by appearing in the workplace where I used to work before. After this incident, the owner of the workplace took me away from Arafa Yıldırım with his car. After this incident, this person called my daughter's fiancé and said, 'I will kill Ümmü. The day she left me, the day she died.' After these incidents, I am afraid of Arafa Yıldırım," it was learned. It was stated that a restraining order was issued against Arafa Yıldırım after Ümmü Döğer's statement. It was also stated that Ümmü Döğer renewed the restraining order 14 days before the murder.
