The knife master from Sivas, Emre Göçeri, produced unique knives in extraordinary colors using special horns selected from 10,000 ram horns. Göçeri interpreted and created a limited collection of knives inspired by historical sword and dagger motifs influenced by TV series, offering them for sale starting at 35,000 TL.

SELECTED WITH CARE FROM 10,000 RAM HORNS Göçeri, who used special series horns from 5-6 year old animals that he meticulously selected from approximately 10,000 ram horns, combined the engravings that carry traces from centuries ago with different interpretations.
PRICE RANGES UP TO 35,000 TL Göçeri, who named the knives 'Dolphin model', stated that the natural colorful and mottled texture of the horns brought from Kütahya and Balıkesir is much more aesthetic compared to standard materials. The selling price of this limited edition knife starts from 3,000 TL and can go up to 35,000 TL.
"I DECIDED TO MAKE A SPECIAL DESIGN KNIFE" Emre Göçeri stated that the production of the knife is laborious and that they have received the reward for this effort, saying, "Despite using so many ram horns, we could only catch 15-20 special series ram horns from 8,000 to 10,000 ram horns. The mottled and patterned ram horns started to stand out. Previously, ram horns were coming to us from provinces like Antep, Urfa, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, and Diyarbakır. They were solid, but not colorful. We noticed that the horns coming from Kütahya and Balıkesir were fuller, more colorful, and more layered. We were curious about this situation and researched it. We saw that it was related to the feed they eat and the pastures they roam. After that, we decided to make specially designed knives with these horns. We started producing products that collectors showed great demand for. We named this knife 'Dolphin model'. Before we started making these knives, there were no engraved Sivas knives like this. There were plain yellow and black buffalo and ram horns. We discovered these horns and thought about what else we could do. We saw that these motifs appeared in 5-6 year old ram horns. It is a bit laborious, but we believe we are getting the reward for our efforts," he said.
"I HAD SEEN THESE MOTIFS IN A SERIES BEFORE" Göçeri expressed that he made a knife after seeing these motifs in a series before and that these knives were only bought by people who are collectors, saying, "I had seen these motifs in a series before. Later, I looked for motifs from another region of Turkey. Upon researching, I found that these engravings also exist in the swords and daggers made by our ancestors. However, all of them had different engravings. We thought that if we added the chain part to these engravings, it would create a different design. This was very popular and well-received. We also embroider a pattern that we call our snake motif on the back of these. Since it had never been done before, we applied for a patent. We are ready to present it to people. We only produced 7-8 special products from 8,000 to 10,000 products. In fact, we sold 5 of these products to a single customer. People buy these knives not to use, but for collection purposes. Just as a full amber looks beautiful to people and they want to buy it, those who see these products also want to buy them happily. There is also a disadvantage to these knives for us. People always want these special knives, so we cannot sell knives made with black and yellow horns. On average, these special knives range from 3,000 to 13,000 TL. We sold a piece obtained from a 4-5 year old ram along with its box for 35,000 TL," he said.
