While these moments were captured second by second, the suspect, who was caught by the police, was arrested. It was claimed that the suspect stated in his testimony, "I went to help him." The incident occurred on September 10 at around 4:30 AM in the Çınarlı neighborhood of the Seyhan district. According to the allegation, Metin Y. fell asleep at the bus stop. The suspect, named İrfan D., approached Metin Y. to check on him when he saw that he was asleep. Then, after coming back to Metin Y. and seeing that no one was around, the suspect stole the 6,000 TL and the necklace from the citizen and fled. These moments were captured by security cameras. STOLEN PHONE AND GOLD NECKLACE FOUND IN HIS HOUSE After a while, Metin Y. woke up and realized he had been robbed, so he reported the situation to the police. Teams from the Theft and Pickpocketing Bureau started efforts to capture the suspect. As a result of the operations, İrfan D. was caught in a raid at his home. During the search of the house, a stolen mobile phone and a gold necklace were also found. İrfan D., who was taken to the police station, reportedly stated in his testimony, "I went to help him when I realized he was unwell and lying down." After the procedures, the suspect was sent to the courthouse and was arrested by the court.
