WHO IS İBRAHİM ERDEMOĞLU?
İbrahim Erdemoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Erdemoğlu Holding, started his career in the carpet trade, which is a family profession, during his university years. He completed his university education in the Physics Department of Karadeniz Technical University. In 2015, he purchased 51% of the shares of Sasa Polyester A.Ş., one of the world's leading manufacturers of polyester fiber, filament, and polyester-based polymers, from Sabancı Holding. Following a mandatory share purchase offer, as of August 2015, Erdemoğlu Holding's shareholding in Sasa Polyester A.Ş. reached 84.80%.
Married and a father of three, İbrahim Erdemoğlu has implemented various corporate social responsibility projects for the cities and people he was born, raised, and is deeply connected to. He has made it a principle to share his earnings.
