Manager Ayşe Barım, who is being tried with a request for up to 30 years in prison in the Gezi Park case, was hospitalized shortly after being released under judicial control due to health problems. However, upon the prosecutor's objection, the Istanbul 27th Heavy Penal Court decided to re-arrest her. The last images of Barım in her hospital room were shared by CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır.
Manager Ayşe Barım, who is being tried on the allegation of being one of the planners of the Gezi Park events in Taksim, has come to the fore again with a critical decision in her case, where she faces a request for up to 30 years in prison. Barım, who has been detained since January 27 on charges of "aiding an attempt to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey," was recently released under judicial control and house arrest. However, the decision was re-evaluated upon the prosecutor's objection.
OBJECTION TO THE RELEASE DECISION
The Istanbul 26th Heavy Penal Court rejected the prosecutor's objection to the release and sent the file to a higher court. The Istanbul 27th Heavy Penal Court found the objection valid and ruled for Barım's re-arrest. After being released from prison, Barım was hospitalized due to a health problem she experienced. It was learned that police teams went to the hospital following the re-arrest decision.
