In a joint operation by MIT, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and the Istanbul Police Department, Serkan Çiçek, who was found to be working for the Israeli intelligence service MOSSAD, was detained. It was reported that Çiçek had been tracking a Palestinian who opposed Israel's Middle East policies for a fee of 4,000 dollars.
The MIT, in a joint operation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch, detained Serkan Çiçek, who was found to be working for the Israeli secret service MOSSAD.
As a result of the intelligence work carried out by MIT, it was determined that Serkan Çiçek was in contact with Faysal Rasheed, a member of the Israeli Online Operations Center. Çiçek admitted to engaging in espionage activities against a Palestinian activist who opposed Israel's Middle East policies.
CHANGED HIS NAME, BECAME A DETECTIVE
It was determined that Serkan Çiçek, whose real name is Muhammet Fatih Keleş, changed his name after accumulating a significant amount of debt in his business life, as a result of the work done by MIT. Following this, Çiçek left trade and started working as a detective by establishing Pandora Detective Agency in 2020. Meanwhile, he met Musa Kuş, who was arrested for espionage for Israel, and lawyer Tuğrulhan Dip, who assisted detectives in obtaining personal data from public records in exchange for financial gain. In his detective activities, Serkan Çiçek worked with both Musa Kuş, who is currently detained, and lawyer Tuğrulhan Dip. As a detective, Serkan Çiçek caught the attention of MOSSAD agents. MOSSAD member Faysal Rasheed contacted Serkan Çiçek via WhatsApp on 31.07.2025, introducing himself as a staff member of a law office abroad.
SPYING FOR MOSSAD FOR 4 THOUSAND DOLLARS
Faysal Rasheed requested Serkan Çiçek to conduct a 4-day surveillance operation on a Palestinian activist living in Başakşehir, who opposed Israel's Middle East policies. In this context, Rasheed made a payment of 4,000 USD in cryptocurrency to Serkan Çiçek on 01.08.2025. When Çiçek researched the target's name online, he learned that it was a Palestinian activist. Despite knowing that Musa Kuş, who supported him in his detective work, had been sentenced to 19 years in prison for working for Israel, Çiçek accepted Faysal Rasheed's offer.
TRACKED STEP BY STEP BUT COULDN'T FIND
Serkan Çiçek went to the address given to him by Faysal Rasheed, who was actually a MOSSAD agent, to investigate the target person but could not find him. Subsequently, under the pretext of looking for a rental apartment, he entered the site on 01-02.08.2025 to conduct reconnaissance. However, Serkan Çiçek was unable to gather the information that Faysal Rasheed wanted during the surveillance operation. As a result, Rasheed terminated contact on 03.08.2025.
