A horrific traffic accident on the Nevşehir-Gülşehir highway has plunged a family into mourning. In a collision that occurred while trying to overtake a truck, 2-year-old E.Y., who was in her mother's arms, lost her life at the scene. In the accident, which injured the young couple, the lifeless body of the little baby was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.

COLLISION DURING OVERTAKING
According to the information obtained, the car with license plate 50 AFE 506, driven by B.Y., collided with the trailer while trying to overtake the truck with license plate 50 AEZ 648, driven by Yüksel M.
2-YEAR-OLD CHILD LOST THEIR LIFE
Upon notification, health, gendarmerie, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. In the initial examination conducted by the health teams, it was determined that the car driver Y.M. and his wife D.N.Y. were injured, while it was found that 2-year-old E.Y., who was in his mother's arms, had lost his life.
INJURED TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
The injured were taken to the hospital for treatment after the first intervention at the scene. The body of the deceased child was taken to the morgue after the examination was completed.
TRUCK DRIVER DESCRIBED THE ACCIDENT
The driver of the truck involved in the accident, Yüksel M., described the events with the following words: "I was driving in my lane and the vehicle was coming from behind me. Apparently, it veered too far to the left. Then it tried to come back to the right. While trying to veer back to the left, the right side of his car hit my left rear corner."
An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident, and the details of the incident will become clear after the research is conducted.
