(25) a while ago. Allegedly, after the fourth month of their relationship, Cem Y began to apply violence to Karaçam.
STARTED THREATS AND BLACKMAIL AFTER BREAKUP
Upon this, Karaçam broke up with Cem Y, but Cem Y, who could not accept this situation and became obsessed, started to blackmail her by threatening her with the photos he took while they were in a relationship. Karaçam, who was subjected to insults and curses, had her house invaded by Cem Y.
BROKE THE DOOR AND ENTERED, ASSAULTED FOR MINUTES
When the woman did not open the door, Cem Y broke the door and forcibly entered. Choking the woman, Cem Y assaulted Karaçam for minutes. With the intervention of the police teams that arrived at the scene, Cem Y was neutralized. The woman received a medical report for the assault to file a complaint. After taking his statement, Cem Y was subjected to legal action for the crimes of "Threats and insults," "Intentional injury," "Violation of the inviolability of the home," and "Damage to property." Cem Y, who was referred to the courthouse, was released under judicial control by the court.

Cem Y continued to threaten Karaçam, who moved to her family's house. Continuing to blackmail Karaçam with the photos he had, Cem Y started to see her again. However, as the level of violence increased, Karaçam broke up with Cem Y again. After being subjected to psychological and verbal violence for about 3 months, Karaçam recently went to the Büyükçekmece Courthouse to file a complaint.

Speaking about the incident, Hatice Karaçam said, "I am sharing this video because if something happens to me, Cem Y is responsible for it. Despite my complaints and taking him to court, I am still being threatened and blackmailed. My family, close friends, and even my cat are being threatened. My close friends are receiving my photos, and I am forced to endure blackmail and threats. Unfortunately, if you are a woman in Turkey, you are silenced somewhere. No matter what happens, I will not remain silent until the end. The reason I have been subjected to so much blackmail is that I have proven that what he did to me, he also did to his ex-girlfriends. He had a USB drive that contained inappropriate images and photos of girls. I took it from him. He thought he could silence me with threats and blackmail because he knew I had the USB. I have never remained silent against injustice, and I will never be silent," she said.

Karaçam stated, "There were times when he sent messages to everyone from my social media account. He was already opening all my social media accounts from his phone and was obsessed. When I didn't let him open it from his phone, he would say, 'I will come to your workplace, I will get you fired. I will kill you, I will go to your home and kill your cat. I will break your door again and beat you.' You keep these things inside and can't tell anyone. I am very tired of this cycle. As a last resort, I decided to bring this to social media. I never thought of making a video like this. I used to think, why are there police for those who film? However, I realized that it was necessary to bring it here. I want the relevant authorities to distance this person from me and to take serious measures so that women in Turkey do not face blackmail and threats. Because I can't sleep peacefully in my home," she said.
