Hakan Sabancı, who was placed under judicial control with a travel ban after being detained in a drug investigation, denied the allegations against him in his statement. Sabancı said, "I have never used drugs at any point in my life. The person you mentioned, Aygün Aydın, is someone I saw once in the past, who later became obsessed with me, and I obtained a restraining order against him, which he violated, leading to his imprisonment."
Businessman Hakan Sabancı, who was detained as part of a drug investigation, was released by the court with a travel ban imposed. After his procedures, Sabancı gave a statement to the prosecutor, denying all the allegations against him and asserting that he has never used drugs at any point in his life.

In his statement, Sabancı claimed that Aygün Aydın, who is at the center of the allegations, has slandered him. Stating that he has only seen Aydın once in the past, Sabancı reminded that this person has become obsessed with him and that there have been restraining orders taken against Aydın previously.

Sabancı stated: "I have never used drugs at any point in my life. I have not been in environments where drugs are used. The person you mentioned, Aygün Aydın, is someone I saw once in the past who later became obsessed with me, and I even took a restraining order against him, which he violated, leading to his imprisonment. What he says about me is slander because of the rumors circulating. My use of drugs with this person is absolutely slander.

I have been to Bebek Hotel in the past, but I did not go to Bebek Hotel with Aygün Aydın, and in fact, I did not go anywhere with this person. I met with the person named Aygün Aydın once at my residence. Our meeting took place on the middle floor, but I definitely did not use drugs. I have never attended any parties. I know a person named Hande Erçel. This person has never used drugs in my presence."
