INCREASE RATE BETWEEN 25 PERCENT AND 30 PERCENT
Karakaş noted that the economic management had previously anticipated a 20% increase, but this rate has softened in the recent process. According to current expectations, Karakaş summarized his estimate regarding the increase rate with the statements, "An increase of at least 25% is expected. The highest increase is expected to be around 30%."
NEW NET MINIMUM WAGE WILL NOT REACH 29 THOUSAND TL
Along with the estimated increase rates, the new values for the current net minimum wage of 22 thousand 104 TL have also been determined. Stating that with the new increase, the net minimum wage will be around 28 thousand – 28 thousand 500 TL, Karakaş said, "It may approach the 29 thousand TL band, but I definitely predict that it will not exceed 29 thousand TL."
