In response to the question "You said you would build a gold-plated building, what happened to that?" during his appearance on the program 'Söylemezsem Olmaz', Kobra Murat stated, "It just isn't finished. The contractor scammed me. I paid the money upfront because of my panic attack. The guy pulled the car to the side and said, 'Mr. Murat, at that time Euro was this much, now it is this much. We can't handle this.' I told him we had a contract. I asked, 'What will happen now?' He said, 'Then just build the four walls, I'll do the rest.' But I regretted saying that. With the money for that house, I could have bought 20 houses. I had everything done, from tiles to marble, to glasswork, to windows, whatever came to mind. The building will be amazing. It will be finished in a month or two. The outside will be covered in gold with mirrors and crystals on top," he expressed.
HE WAS ON MASAK'S RADAR
Kobra Murat, who previously drew attention with his statements about his assets, had announced that MASAK had initiated an investigation against him. The singer expressed his surprise at this situation, saying, "MASAK called me, a paper came to the house. They said, 'We have started an investigation on you from 2022 to 2023.' I was trembling. I am going to build a 5-story building, I am thinking about doors and windows, I owe money to the marble worker. I said, 'What are we going to do?' We found the phone number, called there, asking what it was about. They said, 'Mr. Murat, after Dilan Polat, people in the community were taken under investigation, and you are among them.' I asked, 'What are they investigating about me? I am a musician, I perform in Europe, I bring money to my country.' They said, 'You need to have a company.'
