Hezbollah once again struck the strategic Israeli city of Haifa, which it had targeted in a retaliatory attack on Tuesday. Today, Hezbollah fired 40 missiles at the region, resulting in numerous injuries, while sirens sounded in Haifa and Akko, and power outages occurred in Kiryat Bialik due to the missile attack.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli army, which has turned Gaza into a bloodbath and killed tens of thousands of Palestinians, announced that it had killed Hezbollah leader Nasrallah and launched a ground operation into Lebanon.
ANOTHER ATTACK FROM HEZBOLLAH
Hezbollah, which carried out its largest missile attack on the Israeli port city of Haifa on Tuesday in retaliation, targeted the strategic city once again today. Sirens sounded in Haifa and the northern city of Akko, while air defense systems were activated.
40 MISSILES FIRED
Israeli media reported that at least 4 people were injured due to falling shrapnel. One of the injured is in serious condition. The Israeli army announced that 40 missiles were fired from Lebanon towards Haifa and its surroundings. The army acknowledged in its statement that the missiles caused significant damage.
POWER OUTAGES
Yediot Ahronot reported that power outages occurred in Kiryat Bialik, a northern suburb of Haifa, due to the missile attack. The Israeli website Walla stated that this morning, two missiles intercepted by the David's Sling air defense system were aimed at the Leviathan gas field in the Mediterranean. There is approximately 30 kilometers of distance between Haifa and the Lebanese border.
