After the cancellation of İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu's university diploma, the CHP-affiliated Hopa Municipality took an interesting action. A copy of İmamoğlu's diploma was hung in the municipal building.
The Istanbul University has made a decision in the investigation regarding the claim that the diploma of İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu is fake. The university has revoked the diplomas of 28 individuals, including İmamoğlu.
İMAMOĞLU'S DIPLOMA WAS HUNG IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING
Following the decision, the CHP-led Hopa Municipality took an interesting action. İmamoğlu's revoked diploma was hung in the official municipal building.
Hopa Mayor Utku Cihan made the following statement on social media regarding the issue: "We do not accept the revocation of our President Ekrem's diploma and the injustice done to him! We hung the diploma of Ekrem İmamoğlu, the President of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and the Union of Turkish Municipalities, in our Hopa Municipality building. There is no salvation alone; either we all stand together or none of us!"
