ATTACKED WHILE PLAYING 

The incident occurred around 5:00 PM in a park located in the Yunus Emre neighborhood. According to reports, 2-year-old S.E., who was playing in the park, was attacked by an unidentified person. The suspect fled the scene after injuring the small child in the throat with a knife.

The child was immediately taken to the hospital

IMMEDIATELY TAKEN TO HOSPITAL 

Upon receiving reports from nearby citizens, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The child, who received first aid from the medical team, was taken to Ege University Hospital by ambulance. It was reported that the child's health condition is improving.

SUSPECT ARRESTED AT HOME 

Police teams conducting an investigation at the scene examined nearby security cameras to identify the suspect's identity and address. In a coordinated operation, the suspect was arrested at home along with the weapon used in the crime.

While the detained suspect was taken to the police station, it was reported that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
