Beşiktaş announced that Hüseyin Yücel, who lost the election to Serdal Adalı in the extraordinary general assembly held on December 29, has resigned from his position as a board member of Football Inc.

Beşiktaş announced that Hüseyin Yücel, who lost the presidency to Serdal Adalı in the elections, has resigned from the board of directors of Football A.Ş.

BEŞİKTAŞ'S STATEMENT TO KAP

The black-and-white club's statement to KAP is as follows;

"Mr. Hüseyin YÜCEL, who is the Chairman and Member of our Board of Directors, has resigned from his position as a Board Member as of 07.01.2025 (today)."

HE LOST THE ELECTION BY A RECORD MARGIN TO ADALI

After Hasan Arat's resignation, Hüseyin Yücel, who took the Beşiktaş presidency at the beginning of December and later decided to run in the elections, lost the presidency to Serdal Adalı in the election with a record participation of 13,158 votes. Serdal Adalı was elected president with a total of 8,901 votes in the extraordinary general assembly held on December 29, while Hüseyin Yücel received only 3,637 votes. Additionally, Adalı became the person elected as president with the highest number of votes in Beşiktaş history.
