In Konya, a man named Murat Ulaşan murdered his ex-wife Bahriye Kalaycı in an empty lot where he had called her to talk. After stabbing his ex-wife to death, he injured himself and was taken to the hospital. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

27-year-old Murat Ulaşan, who lives in Konya, killed his 25-year-old ex-wife Bahriye Kalaycı with a knife under the pretext of talking and then seriously injured himself.

HE STABBED HIMSELF AFTER KILLING HIS WIFE

The incident occurred around 15:00 in the Akyel Plateau of İsmil Neighborhood in the Karatay district. According to allegations, Murat Ulaşan, who lives in the city center, went to the house of Bahriye Kalaycı, from whom he had divorced a while ago. Ulaşan took Kalaycı, whom he had picked up in his car, to an empty field under the pretext of talking. After a dispute broke out, Murat Ulaşan first stabbed Kalaycı and then himself. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of those nearby.

In the examination conducted by health teams, it was determined that Bahriye Kalaycı had lost her life, while Murat Ulaşan, who was in serious condition, was taken to Konya City Hospital after the initial intervention. It was learned that the divorced couple has a 3-year-old son, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
