A shooting took place at a container city located in the Kırıkhan district of Hatay during iftar time. It was reported that the mother and father lost their lives, while their daughter, who was seriously injured, is fighting for her life in intensive care. The father stated that they were shot by his rival, M.D., as he took his last breath in the hospital.
Gunshots were heard during iftar time in the container city located in the Karataş neighborhood of Kırıkhan district in Hatay. In the armed attack on the Yıldırım family staying in the container, mother Cemile Yıldırım (40) lost her life at the scene. Father Hüseyin Yıldırım (45) and their daughter Melike Yıldırım were seriously injured.

Police and ambulance teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of nearby citizens. Father Hüseyin Yıldırım also lost his life despite all the interventions of doctors at the hospital. His seriously injured daughter Melike Yıldırım is fighting for her life in intensive care.

It was learned that in his last words, father Hüseyin Yıldırım stated that they were attacked by his rival M.D. with a firearm during iftar time in the container.
OPERATION TO CAPTURE THE SUSPECT HAS BEGUN
Police teams are continuing their efforts to capture the suspect named M.D., who fled after the armed attack.
