Details regarding the construction company in which Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) President Ekrem İmamoğlu is a partner have been reflected in the MASAK report. It has been determined that the construction company, which was seized by court order, purchased 117 properties within a span of 3 years.
The Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) report stated that İmamoğlu İnşaat, a company co-owned by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, acquired 117 properties between December 8, 2020, and December 11, 2023, over a period of 3 years.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu was detained yesterday as part of a terrorism and corruption investigation. İmamoğlu, whose statement procedures are ongoing, had the construction company he is a partner in seized by court order.

The report revealed that İmamoğlu İnşaat, in which 60% of the shares belong to Ekrem İmamoğlu and 40% to his father Hasan İmamoğlu, acquired 117 properties, including 19 shops, 19 residences, 63 apartments, 8 offices, 6 bureaus, and 2 plots of land, between December 8, 2020, and December 11, 2023. It was noted that the source of these properties and the increase in funds acquired over 3 years is unclear.
