BAN ON GOLD OVER 100 GRAMS IN RUSSIA

The decree approved by Putin was published in the country's legal information system. Accordingly, it is prohibited for companies or individuals to export gold bullion weighing more than 100 grams from the country.

GOLD RESERVES EXCEED 300 BILLION DOLLARS

Russia's gold reserves surpassed 300 billion dollars for the first time in November 2025, while the share of gold in the country's international reserves also rose above 40 percent.
