According to initial reports, 12 people died and 20 were injured as a result of a collision between a bus and a train in the Comilla region of southeastern Bangladesh. According to a report by the Dhaka Tribune, the mail train, which was on its way from the Chittagong region to the capital Dhaka, collided with a passenger bus in Comilla.
THREE-HOUR DELAY IN TRAIN SERVICES
According to initial findings from the accident, 12 people lost their lives and 20 were injured. Authorities stated that the bus, which was caught by the train's locomotive due to the impact, was dragged for about 1 kilometer and became unusable.
After the accident, train services on the Dhaka-Chittagong line were halted for about 3 hours, but transportation returned to normal after the work was completed.
