Iran retaliated against the attacks launched by the US and Israel on February 28, striking Israel. It was reported that Iran carried out six waves of missile attacks targeting the southern region, where most of the Dimona Nuclear Plant is located. Moments from the latest attack were captured on camera, while severe explosions occurred in the area. Meanwhile, it was announced that 39 people were also injured in the attack.
The war that began with the attacks by the USA and Israel on Iran continues on its 22nd day. While the USA and Israel target many Iranian cities, especially the capital Tehran, the number of Iranians killed in the attacks has exceeded a thousand.
It has been reported that a ground operation against Iran is also being considered; Iran has been carrying out retaliatory attacks against Israel and US bases in the region since the first day of the war.
HIT ISRAEL'S CRITICAL AREA
Iran recently reported that it conducted 6 waves of missile attacks targeting the southern region of Israel, where most of the Dimona Nuclear Power Plant is located. Moments of the last attack were captured on camera, and severe explosions occurred in the area.
20 PEOPLE INJURED
The Israeli emergency service, Magen David Adom, reported that 20 people were lightly injured as a result of a piece of an Iranian missile falling in the Dimona area.
Israel's Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that missile fragments fell in 12 areas and that a building hit by a missile collapsed.
The report stated that 5 people were lightly injured in the area where the building collapsed, and 15 people were lightly injured in a public shelter hit by a missile fragment.
IRAN'S NUCLEAR FACILITY HAD BEEN HIT
Meanwhile, this morning, Iran's Natanz Nuclear Facility was hit, and the Israeli army stated that they did not carry out the airstrike targeting the nuclear facility.
In a statement from the Israeli army, it was conveyed that Israeli fighter jets did not carry out any attacks in the area where the Natanz Nuclear Facility is located; it was also mentioned that there would be no comments regarding US activities in Iran due to "war conditions."
HAD BEEN HIT BEFORE
The USA and Israel had also targeted the Natanz Nuclear Facility in the early days of the war. In this attack, the International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed that damage was observed in the entrance buildings of the facility based on satellite images, but reported that no radiological issues were expected. No increase in radiation was detected in the mentioned attack.
USA-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations continue between the governments of Tehran and Washington, Israel and the USA launched a military attack on Iran on February 28. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the USA-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, as well as many high-ranking officials, were killed. According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the USA-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured has surpassed 17,000.
