The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps targeted Arad, Dimona, Eilat, Beer Sheva, and Kiryat Gat in southern Israel with missiles and kamikaze drones. More than 200 people lost their lives in the attacks, while Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made a notable confession. Stating, "We had a very difficult evening in the struggle we are fighting for our future," Netanyahu noted that he had instructed for all assistance to be provided to the region.
The 23rd day of the war between the US-Israel and Iran began with intense clashes. While Iran turned 4 cities in Israel into a fire zone with missiles and drones, an unusual statement came from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Public Relations Unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a new statement regarding the 73rd wave of Operation "Real Promise 4". The statement reported that military bases in the north and south of Israel, as well as some US military bases in the region, were targeted by missiles and kamikaze drones belonging to the IRGC Aerospace Forces.
"MILITARY FACILITIES HIT WITH PERFECT ACCURACY"
The statement said, "Military facilities and security centers in the regions of Arad, Dimona, Eilat, Beersheba, and Kiryat Gat, located in the south of the occupied territories, were hit with perfect accuracy following the collapse of the Zionist army's defense system. Additionally, the US-owned Ali al-Salem, al-Minhad, and Al Dhafra air bases in the region were also targeted with Fettah, Qadir, and Emad missiles and kamikaze drones."
"MORE THAN 200 DEAD AND INJURED"
The statement also included field data regarding the first hours of the attacks, stating, "According to field reports, there were more than 200 dead and injured in the first hours of the attack. Zionist security officials have increased pressure on journalists and eyewitnesses to censor the destruction and casualties. The equations of the war are changing rapidly, and the defense control of the Zionist army over the occupied territories is collapsing."
UNEXPECTED STATEMENT FROM NETANYAHU
Following Iran's retaliations against Israel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, "We had a very difficult evening in the struggle we are fighting for our future," and noted that he had ordered all assistance to be provided to the region. Netanyahu indicated that Israel's attacks on Iran and Lebanon would continue.
SCHOOLS WILL BE TEMPORARILY CLOSED
On the other hand, reports in the Israeli press indicated that schools in the region, where the measures imposed by Israel due to its attacks on Iran had recently been relaxed, would temporarily close again for education.
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations continued between the Tehran and Washington administrations, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as many high-ranking officials, were killed. According to Iranian officials, the death toll in the US-Israel attacks exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured surpassed 17,000.
