The incident occurred late at night in the Ağras neighborhood. According to allegations, a dispute arose between Fatih Mehmet İnce, Mikail Bozdemir, and Nebi Sümbül over a 'debt'. As the argument escalated, İnce opened fire on Bozdemir and Sümbül with the gun he had with him.

Injured Bozdemir and Sümbül lost their lives at the scene, while the suspect Fatih Mehmet İnce fled. Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the area. After the officials' investigations, the bodies were taken to the morgue. The suspect İnce surrendered at the Güneysınır Gendarmerie Command Station.
